Round One – Midwest Sectionals 8 v. 9

More preposterous statement madness as we move deeper into the first round of the 2009 Preposterous Statement Tournament (not to be confused with the Common Man Dan Cole’s Preposterous Statement Tournament). You can follow the tournament by using the 20 Times Around the Block Preposterous Statement bracket. Make your pick for a winner! A complete list of the statements can be found here.

Today we have former governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevich going up against South Carolina’s sentator Lindsey Graham. Let’s take a look and see which statement is more preposterous:

8. I feel like I can serve the people in a good way now because I have all kinds of insights that virtually no one has. –Rod Blagojevich

9. “I know bipartisanship when I see it.”–Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-South Carolina

Oh Blago, no one has more insights than you! Sorry, Graham you’re an underdog in this one.
