Sports Seating and Class Warfare

Take a gander at this picture from the NY Times:

The brand spankn’ new Yankee stadium reserves a box of front row seats for high paying ticket owners. And cannot fill them up even on opening day.

This may erode my conservative credibility even further, but I am becoming economic egalitarian when it comes to sports seating. Yes, there will always be the cheap seats and home plate will cost a pretty penny, but seriously. When foul balls become unattainable to the common man, the average man, the best of the lousiest, and the lousiest of the best, it’s time for a revolution.

Just look at those surly Yankee fans… would you want to be the rich white liberal sipping on bottled water while legions of Bronx natives yell expletives in your direction? I think not.
