More Stuff on Science and Religion

The John Templeton Foundation website has an interesting feature call Big Questions that currently poses the question “Does science make belief in God obsolete?” Lots of interesting reading from sicentists and theologians who are considered to be the “Who’s Whos” of today’s debate. I am mostly in agreement with William Phillips.

  1. Elton says:

Science (given this definition here: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/science) and religion are not necessarily separate or combine IMO. Our basis of belief (atheist, Christians, etc) allows us to speculate the basis for the knowledge. Thus, two people can see the exact evidence, such as the cellular DNA, and come to entirely different conclusions on how it came into being.
