		<description>I don&#039;t know enough about Schaeffer or his son to have any idea how much of this is true or not.  But I do know that if someone wrote a memoir on my life, focusing on all of my mistakes, I&#039;d sound like a pretty horrible person.

And maybe I am.

But fortunately God&#039;s grace covers that.  

I wish I had the quote, but I think CS Lewis addresses this issue in Mere Christianity.  He says (basically) that it&#039;s not so much how horrible our behavior is once we find God, it&#039;s how much worse it would be without God.</description>
